The British Podcast Awards are delighted to announce that we are returning to HERE at Outernet for the 2024 awards ceremony. The evening will bring together the podcast community to celebrate the outstanding work being produced and the teams behind them.

27 awards will be handed out across a range of genres and categories, including the coveted Podcast of the Year and publicly voted Listeners’ Choice.

Hosted by comedian and broadcaster Marcus Brigstocke, podcasting’s biggest party is not one to be missed.

Start your night early and enjoy advanced access as you arrive in style for a walk down the BPA pink carpet to our VIP drinks reception.

There you will have your photo taken and time to network before taking your seat for the pre-show 2 course meal with wine and soft drinks. You will enjoy a premium position to watch the awards with access to the after party when dessert is served.

To ensure the BPAs are accessible for all, we have a general admission ticket available to experience the sights, sounds and energy of the awards ceremony from our mezzanine level. Tickets include a welcome drink on arrival in time for you to grab your spot to watch the show. Guests are welcome to the afterparty following the awards.

Please note there is limited availability in this section and tickets are standing room only. Some stools will be available on a first come first served basis.

BURSARY SCHEME

All of the Rising Stars that have been shortlisted for this year’s awards qualify for one free ticket as part of our bursary scheme.

In addition to the Rising Stars, the bursary scheme is available to shortlisted nominees to ensure they are able to attend. The scheme is particularly aimed at podcast creators within the independent sector.

All applications will be assessed by the BPA team with the aim to provide support and ensure all parts of the podcast community are able to participate in the event. Please email [email protected] to apply.

MARCUS BRIGSTOCKE

Comedian and Broadcaster

This year's esteemed host is best known for his sharp wit and engaging presence, bringing a wealth of experience in the comedy and broadcast world. Marcus also co-presents the popular comedy podcast his wife, Rachel Parris, called How Was It For You? With a career spanning over two decades - appearing on panel shows such as QI and Mock The Week and films such as Love Actually and Magic Mike III - The Last Dance - Marcus has become a household name. Attendees are set to have an unforgettable night filled with Brigstocke's infectious humour and engaging insight, celebrating the creativity, diversity, and excellence of the podcasting community.

Marcus Brigstocke says: "I’m delighted to be hosting this years British Podcast Awards. In the space of a few years I’ve gone from not understanding what they are to now being a certified podcast addict and even having one of my own! I’m excited to bring together the great and the good and the weird and the wonderful from the world of podcasting... In preparation for the event I will be launching a podcast in which I talk to myself for a joyous unedited seven hours about my time as host."
